This actively proctored, instructor-led virtual 10 Hour OSHA Outreach training is designed to promote workplace safety and health and to make workers more knowledgeable about workplace hazards and their rights.

This Outreach program emphasizes workplace safety and health, the role of the construction worker in hazard recognition and avoidance, workers’ rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint.

This 8-Hour Hazwoper Refresher training program consists of a synopsis of the core elements of an occupational safety and health program including an emergency response plan and procedures.

Students will need to have access to an internet connection, a computer, or a tablet with access to a web camera, microphone, and download the WebEx app.

This actively proctored, instructor-led virtual program includes OSHA policies, procedures, and standards, as well as construction safety and health principles.

The Virtual 10-Hour OSHA Outreach Training Program for General Industry provides training for workers and employers on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces in general industry. Attendees discuss and review how to prevent accidents and injuries and OSHA General Industry Standards specific to your industry. This course is based on the requirements contained within the OSHA Code of Federal Regulations for General Industry (29 CFR 1910).

This course introduces students to the New York City Fire Code and Fire Department Rules including their organization and terminology, along with Fire Code construction site provisions and all construction site fire safety requirements. Topics covered will include fire safety plans, inspections and record keeping, training on fire extinguishers, testing fire protection equipment, hot work requirements and industry best practices based on other regulatory requirements like the Building Code and OSHA.

As set forth in the Mayor’s Emergency Executive Order 153, the FDNY authorizes the limited use of propane for comfort heating of restaurant patrons during the COVID-19 state of emergency. T-93 Certificate of Fitness holder is responsible for the onsite supervision of connecting and disconnecting the propane containers from the heaters.

This instructor-lead, virtual seminar assists candidates to prepare to navigate the FDNY exam, which can be taken one of four ways: Online exam; In-person computer-based exam; Group appointment exam; Special field exam.

Gallagher Bassett’s NYC DOB Building Codes Update Technical Seminar: What to Expect in 2022, offers a consolidated, comprehensive overview of all recent updates and revisions. This seminar is strongly recommended for all site safety managers, coordinators, inspectors, construction supers, and anyone else working on an NYC construction site where major buildings are being constructed.

Outdoor natural gas-fueled heaters are popular with restaurants and foodservice operators as they are an effective method of extending the outdoor dining season. A sidewalk café with added warmth can be operational later into the fall through winter by providing additional heat to an area that would otherwise be unpleasantly cold. This will be especially beneficial as the service industry adapts to COVID-19. The G-93 Certificate of Fitness holder is required for the Supervision of portable outdoor natural gas-fired heaters in sidewalk cafes.

This instructor-led, virtual (Distance Learning) seminar will assist students in preparing to successfully pass the written examination required by the FDNY to obtain the  Certificate of Fitness for Supervision of Portable Natural Gas Heaters (G- 93) which can be taken,  in person at FDNY’s headquarters through a computer-based exam.

The coronavirus or COVID-19 is a respiratory illness transmitted from person to person through droplets in the air they breathe and surfaces they touch. The Occupational Safety and Health Act requires construction employers to provide a safe and healthy workplace. To do this, construction industry employers should develop a comprehensive COVID-19 exposure control plan, which includes control measures, symptom checking, social distancing, hygiene and decontamination procedures, and training. This training program will focus on COVID-19 risk assessment, health and wellness measures and what policies and procedures should be implemented by contractors to ensure safety of construction employees.

As states begin to re-start the economy, it’s vital for employers to incorporate safety and wellness measures to protect construction workers from spreading the virus. To ensure appropriate steps are taken, Construction Industry employers are responsible to develop a comprehensive COVID-19 exposure control plan, which includes control measures such as social distancing; symptom checking; hygiene; decontamination procedures, and training. An exposure control plan must be followed to prevent any onsite worker from contracting COVID-19, as many people with COVID-19 are asymptomatic, and can potentially spread disease.

This seminar will focus on the most recent recommendations and guidelines that pertain to the content of an exposure control plan as well as the roles and responsibilities of individuals designated to enforce the plan on construction sites.
